Sashimi Plate 29cm / Shell Glaze

The Shell range is inspired by stones found in the rivers of Kiso Valley. A favourite of chefs for its textural qualities and rustic charm. Shell is referenced for the soft white appearance of the glaze. 

The Dai kiln specialises in making 'Minoyaki' style tableware for restaurant and home use with a focus on a presentation style.

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and are embraced.

General information & care instructions

Our tableware is food safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.
